Nuture Ministry

St. Margaret’s offers different Nurture Based Ministries that are designed to provide support, care, and spiritual growth opportunities for individuals within the community, fostering a sense of belonging and helping them develop their faith and personal well-being.

Sunday School for Grown Ups! Various classes on various subjects that are offered throughout the year at 9:30am – right after the 8am Service and right before the 10:30am Service - a great connector to meet and interact with members from “the other” Service as well.
No preparation is necessary – join any time.

Adult Christian Education

This is a group of men who desire to connect, grow and serve Christ together through informal meetings, food, discussion, a short devotional or teaching lesson. This group is also involved in parish and service projects, such as Church Lawn Maintenance and Facilities.
They meet the first Tuesday of the Month from 6:30pm – 7:30pm in the Parish Hall. Contact [email protected] for more information.

Brotherhood of St. Andrew,
St. Margaret’s Chapter

Children’s Chapel is held at the 10:30am Service, during the readings and sermon. The lessons for Children’s Chapel are preplanned and all supplies available. Children are returned to the Sanctuary after the Peace is given.

Children’s Chapel

For Children K – 5th grade, this ministry is in need assistants to facilitate Sunday lessons – all supplies and plans are provided! Enjoy the childlike Faith of St. Margaret’s youth as well as lend your talents to pass the faith to this generation.

Children’s Sunday School

The Hospitality Committee provides snacks and beverages after Sunday Services and facilitates the 5 the Sunday Pot Luck Lunch. This Ministry also provides hospitality services for funerals, weddings, or other special events.

Hospitality

On the second Tuesday of the month at 6pm the Ladies of St. Margaret’s have dinner at Salsalitos.
The women of St. Margaret’s come together for food, fun and fellowship.

Ladies Night Out

For children ages 0 – 4 years old on Sunday mornings, childcare is provided in the nursery from 9am – noon.

This is a group who has experienced any kind of loss – of a loved one, a job, a relationship.
They meet to support each other.

Sojourners

An opportunity for St. Margaret’s women to grow in faith and fellowship while working for the betterment of both our church family and the wider community by serving those in need. The WOSM meet at 6:00pm on the 4th Tuesday of every month in the Conference Room to share a snack and plan for activities such as museum outings and Women’s Retreats for their group as well as the church.

Women of St. Margaret’s

This group meets every Wednesday morning at 9:30am to discuss a selected book after reading it out loud – no preparation needed! The discussion is followed by the Wednesday Communion Service and then the group goes to lunch at various locations.

The Youth Group consists of 6th–12th graders that meet at 9:30am for a Book Study. The Youth Group participates in Outreach Programs in the Community, for the Church as well as just fun and fellowship on group outings.
